Inspired by the cover of a book known as ‘Queen Mary’s Psalter’ a book of medieval miniatures. It was originally gift to Queen Mary from the trustees of the British Museum. The pointelle floral design using numerous small dots and heraldic roses pomegranates and crowns is recreated as a stunning jacquard woven silk punctuated with metallic thread to create glimmering highlights.
